Getting customers to swipe right on Your Business
Launching a business is like launching your dating profile. You’re ready, available and open to everyone; you just want the right person to invest themselves in you. Oh, and they probably need to be into cats, right?
Let’s put this into business terms before things get x-rated, shall we?
You’ve launched your business; a few sales have come through; all your friends and family are following your socials, liking EVERY post, and your email list has started to build enough for your first shot at a “Welcome” Newsletter. Things are looking promising, and you’re close to sharing the news with your cat that they will have to start sharing their side of the bed soon.
Then boom, you’re two months in, and they start chewing with their mouth open, and you find yourself stuck with the devastating “ick” and no future together (ok, back to business terms). You’re thinking to yourself, “Why am I struggling to scale?”. You’ve been following your marketing gurus, posting content, using hashtags, using funky music over your posts, and even asking the other half to share absolutely EVERYTHING to their socials (let’s be real, so that people know you’re dating).
The kicker? All the things you’re doing would be great IF they were in front of the right person.
The silver lining? You know that person you ghosted to meet the open-mouth chewer? Well, that’s us, and we’re here to identify your ideal person. No, we’re going to take it a step further. We will identify your significant other so that you can delete that app and build growth together for years to come.
A common misconception is that if you’re in the same demographic and geographic segment as someone else, you must have similar interests. However, the psychographics of those same people could be worlds apart.
Here’s an example:
Let’s take a look at two people who are in the same demographic and geographic segment.
Both Person 1 and 2 are female, 39 years old, born in the US, married, famous, and multimillionaires. You would think with that information that these people must be in the same targeting pool because they have so much in common, right?
Wrong because we aren’t considering this person’s psychographics, which are things like beliefs, interests, morals, etc. So, if we unmask these two people and view their psychographics, we will see that those two people are worlds apart,
Person 1 is Tennis Superstar Serena Williams, and Person 2 is 2000’s royalty, Paris Hilton.
When we’re thinking about these demographics, we tend to think that these two must be the same person because they have so much in common, living in the same area and being of the same age, but of course, they’re not. Psychographics are really interesting; if you like cats, I don’t care about your gender, age, wealth, marital status or anything else because we have that in common, and knowing this information allows me to speak to you to give you valuable information on cats, knowing you’ll (we’ll) be engaged (not literally, settle down) straight away.
Our “New Mates” Brand Booster Package takes you through the process of uncovering your significant other. We give them a name, relationship status, physical description, occupation, morals, interests, priorities, even a Spotify playlist if you’re up for it and more.
We create your ideal customer so vividly that every time you brainstorm, create, spend, or launch something for your business, they’re who you’re thinking about. We call it “ultimate stalker mode”, but hey, you’ll be their number one problem solver and motivator, and as a result, you’re able to create a personal experience so good that they WILL SWIPE RIGHT!
So, let’s be mates and get people swiping right and don’t worry, we won’t tell them about the nose-picking.
